A Note from the Director

Happy May Everyone!

Remember my last note when I mentioned the April rains and May flowers? Well, I had no idea it would actually rain so much in April! Better than snow, I suppose; but I am still looking forward to those May flowers beginning to bloom.

I mention this simple reminder about April rains and May flowers because just beyond the storm always comes the sun. As our young children move through a huge developmental stage in their lives that may present challenges, they won’t be this young ever again. There will always be brighter days ahead. Honor those tiny little minds for what they are and continue pouring into them for what they could be.

Have a great Month!

Reflecting on this Month

What a busy April Midvale had...

From Week of the Young Child to Dental and Hearing Visits for GSRP, this building has been buzzing every since the return from spring break. The past week we joined in with the district to celebrate Inclusion Week: to recognize the importance of making sure everyone feels valued, respected, and accepted. I enjoyed seeing all the children participate from day to day, but today especially; seeing so many students in Midvale T-Shirts! This community is something special and I love being able to be a part of it with you all.

If you would like to purchase a Midvale shirt for Current or Future Midvale students stop by the office. $10 cash or check

Friday May 29th

Parent Teacher conferences will be held on this day.

No School for children.

Make sure to follow your classroom newsletters for sign ups!

Side note, we are aware these conferences are a bit funky of timing. Next year's calendar should be released by the end of the month and will be more of aligned with the district.
